MTSI is seeking a Threat Analyst within a team of intelligence analysts supporting acquisition programs for the United States Air Force. The team is responsible for providing timely and relevant intelligence data products (including briefings, RFI responses, written products, working group participation, etc.) in support of acquisition activities.

Day to day responsibilities include researching of relevant threat systems, creating and providing briefings on a variety of topics, intelligence product development, interaction with various Intelligence Community entities, other Air Force programs, mid and senior-level Air Force leadership. Applying expertise in performing analysis of threats to U.S. Air Force systems and operations. Managing and maintaining various libraries and databases of threat data.


• Primary responsibility is the management of a working group & associated activities including day to day coordination and research related to working group topics.
• Comprehensive knowledge of foreign air and ground threat systems, capabilities, and technologies
• Expertise of intelligence tradecraft and analytic processes
• Ability to conduct all-source intelligence research & analysis
• Provide well sourced intelligence assessments, briefings, and RFI responses in conformance with intelligence community analytic standards; topics of research and analysis include foreign IADs, C4I, air and counterair capabilities, and ground-based threats
• Provide support to production and collection requirements activities
• Maintenance of team product libraries


• 10+ years of experience researching, identifying, analyzing, and characterizing future multi-domain threats (land, air, maritime, electromagnetic, space, etc.) to Air Force operations, objects, systems, networks, programs, and their sources of infrastructure, intelligence, and industrial support and a Bachelor’s degree is preferred
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and cross-organizational coordination skills
• Must have the ability to work independently
• Possess excellent briefing skills
• Concise writing ability
• Must possess an active T5 Top Secret security clearance and must have additional experience with security duties related to SAP and SCI.

Please Note: U.S. Citizenship is required for this position, due to contract requirements.

• Travel: Position requires up to 10% travel to CONUS areas
