Responsibilities:

Act as deputy to the Joint Simulation Environment Chief Engineer
o Assist the customer with organizational leadership
o Represent the interests of JSE at stakeholder meetings
o Assist in shaping the architecture, vision, and use cases for the Joint Simulation Environment
o Assist the customer with defining department roles and responsibilities

Participate system design and architecture development
o Reads and understands customer requirements documents (test plans, training plans, etc.)
o Translates customer requirements into requirements simulation architecture
o Assists in writing and reviewing system requirements documents, support plans, and other execution materials
o Assist with evaluating vendor proposals for procurement

Plan data analysis and development of reporting products for customers
o Creates data requests per organization standards. Delivers these data requests to data management personnel
o Processes, conditions, or analyzes raw simulation data per test/training support plans and/or associated data analysis plans
o Assists with data packaging and delivery to customers per test/training support plans or associated data analysis plans

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an engineering discipline
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Desired qualifications
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in flight test (operations engineer, test conductor/director, or discipline engineer)
• Experience using Next Generation Threat System (NGTS) or Digital Integrated Air Defense System (DIADS) simulator software.

Educational Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from an ABET accredited program

Travel Requirements
Up to 20% travel may be required.

Clearance Requirements
Active Secret security clearance granted within the last six years, with the ability to gain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance. Active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility desired.

U.S. Citizenship is required
