MTSI is seeking a qualified Senior Software Test Engineer in Huntsville, AL.

Responsibilities:

As part of the team, the candidate will be expected to deep dive into the C2BMC Defense Planner software, understand its architecture and functions to be able to perform in depth analysis of problem resolution. The candidate will also be expected to fix bugs and implement new features for a Javascript/Typescript API project. Other day-to-day responsibilities include documentation updates, writing unit tests, and release testing. Candidate should also be familiar with Agile. Candidate will also help derive and convert engineering algorithms for various phenomenology into delivered software code.  Candidate will be expected to be self-motivated and work in a fast-paced team environment. Duties:

  • Develop integration and system automated test software
  • Operate the C2BMC Defense Designer to perform system and integration tests
  • Perform bug fixes and/or create new features
  • Documentation generation
  • Breakdown complex mathematical computations

Qualifications:

  • Ability to obtain Secret security clearance
  • Strong mathematical skills
  • Javascript/Typescript experience
  • Docker experience is a plus
  • Git/GitLab experience is a plus

 Desired Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5-10 years of experience in software engineering. 10+ years’ experience is preferred
  • Familiarity with unit testing frameworks
  • Familiarity with ASP.NET
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
  • Experience with Visual Studio/VS Code
  • Experience programming with C#/C++/Python
  • Experience with .NET Core
