Responsibilities:

As a Senior Systems Engineer you will support the development and operations of a complex, large-scale enterprise IT family of systems. This will consist of engineering projects that will develop and implement next-generation IT tools, systems, and capabilities for the warfighter.

Specific Job Duties:

  • Advise and engage with the Government PM regarding systems integration issues by evaluating components; developing and completing performance tests; analyzing test data; studying project requirements; analyzing user and potential user input; evaluating similar and related products and systems; develop technical documentation, system architecture, and system design documentation
  • Verify outcomes of designated programs’ development efforts by observing system function, reviewing measures against required performance, and ensuring traceability of accomplished system function to Required Performance Measures (RPM) or Key Performance Parameters (KPP)
  • Engage with Operational Test & Assessment team personnel; maintain awareness of status and schedule of programs of interest
  • Participate in reviews of systems and elements under development to ensure traceability of requirements
  • Analyze complex information and independently takes appropriate actions to resolve problems

Qualifications:

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Must have experience working with Special Access Programs (SAPs)

  • Master degree or higher in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a similar field

  • Minimum 12 years of experience developing system-of-systems functional mission architectures and capabilities using proven methodologies for complex DOD communications based programs including migration of legacy systems into modernized net-centric, service oriented architectures

  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) required

Educational Requirements:

  • Master's degree Computer Science, Systems Engineering or equivalent technical degree required.

Clearance Required:

  • TS/SCI (top secret/SCI)

Location:

  • National Capital Region (NCR)
