Responsibilities:

As a Senior Program Management Analyst you will provide strategic acquisition management support to Program Element Monitor (PEM). Support PEM with in-depth understanding of DoD and Air Force acquisition policy. Assist PEM/PM with the refinement of requirements documents and acquisition program documents used to meet overall program requirements.

  • Assist PEM/PM in reviewing requirements and documentation for the development of guidance material and policy and to provide technical advice to the requirements manager(s).

  • Advise the requirements owner/manager on matters pertaining to regulations, policies, procedures, and best practices.

  • Assist/advise the PEM during relevant program and FYDP discussions.

  • Assist PEM with acquisition data calls and financial planning as required.

  • Assist/advise PEM in the analysis and evaluation of requirement matters and the initiation, development, and execution of acquisition strategy, ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, regulations, and statute.

  • Responsible for assisting PEM to develop and review acquisition strategies; acquisition concept development; acquisition documentation; acquisition design, development, test or production documentation; and acquisition budgetary or financial information.

  • Assist PEM/PM to prepare, analyze, review, and update acquisition and program documentation consistent with program requirements, milestones, and oversight compliance.

  • Assist PEM/PM to review PR’s, MIPR’s, FDAR's and financial reporting for accuracy.

  • Assist PEM/PM with preparation of performance work statements (PWS), statements of objectives (SOO), and statements of work (SOW).

  • Review and edit PWSs, and SOWs as required by the PRE to ensure tasks are well articulated with sufficient detail for PM.

Qualifications:

Required Experience:

  • 15+ years Operational Experience in combat aircraft, or Technical Experience in engineering or physics
  • 3+ years HQ Staff Experience; able to communicate effectively with/brief senior military Service leadership
  • SAP experience in 5 of the last 8 years

Desired Experience:

  • Program Management Experience
  • Acquisition Professional Development Program (APDP) - certified in Test and Evaluation, Engineering, and/or Program Management

Education Requirements:

  • B.S./M.S. in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics or Program Management

Clearance Requirements:

Active TS/SCI (Cl polygraph highly desired)
