Responsibilities:

POSITION OVERVIEW

As a Acquisition Logistics Support - Senior Logistics Manager: Technical Order Management Agent (TOMA)/Flight Manual Manager (FMM) with MTSI, your primary focus will be to perform as a key participant in developing long-term weapon system supportability approaches that further the Government’s acquisition strategy goals and objectives managed by Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC). You will be responsible to balance the many factors that influence a program’s cost, schedule, and performance; to interpret and tailor application of directives and regulations; and to ensure that high-quality, affordable, supportable, and effective products and support mechanisms are developed, produced, and sustained throughout the product lifecycle.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Program Manager (PM), Product Support Manager (PSM) and Acquisitions Logistics team members to develop acquisition and supportability strategies for Integrated Product Support Elements supporting current and future platforms.
• Provide support to accomplish the review and generation of logistics support documentation, including the following: Integrated Logistics Support Plans (ILSP), Life Cycle Sustainment Plans (LCSP), Technical Manuals/Orders (TM/TO), Logistics Assessments, and Work/System Specifications to ensure the documentation meets Government product support requirements.
• Participate in integrated product support management team meetings, program management reviews, and other related meetings.
• Assist in producing or reviewing documents for program office use that support the breadth of acquisition and sustainment logistics efforts.
• Perform Technical Data management and analyses; write reports, recommend actions, or perform any related tasks that provide logisticians the capabilities to acquire, store, and manage in a timely, efficient, cost- affordable manner the recorded information needed to translate system and equipment design requirements into discrete engineering and logistics considerations, and manage a TO/Technical Data Library.
• Prepare data management plans, TO validation and verification plans, and TO management plans.
• Assist in identifying engineering data requirements and data rights claims.
• Review, track, and monitor verification and delivery of engineering/technical data; identify requirements for applicable technical manuals.
• Develop, modify, prepare and/or validate documentation in relation to automated logistics or maintenance data reporting systems, and management information systems.

Qualifications:

Qualifications Required:
• 10 years’ experience working in DoD logistics and acquisitions
• 10 years’ experience with United States Air Force (USAF) Technical Data and Technical Order management
• Experience developing and interpreting high-level project/work plans.
• Experience with MS Office System productivity suites and project management software

Education:
• Bachelor's degree in a business, logistics or project management discipline required
o 15-20 years of related professional experience is accepted in lieu of a degree.
• Defense Acquisition University (DAU) credentials/certificates are a plus

Even better if you have these desired skills:
• Prior experience in a DoD System Program Office
• Prior experience as an operator, maintainer and/or manager of a DoD platform

Clearance Requirements:
• Must possess an active DoD Secret Clearance. A Top Secret (TS) security clearance (with SCI and SAP eligibility) is HIGHLY desired.
