Responsibilities:

MTSI is seeking a Fighter Operations Subject Matter Expert with TS/SCI clearance to provide support to a Government Office at Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Va. Fighter Operations SME’s primary focus will be to provide expertise for fighter aircraft operations, test and training. Candidate will advise and assist the government in all aspects of simulation and live fly test and training.

Responsibilities:

Perform as an Operational SME across mission systems, such as radar, weapons, electronic warfare, sensor fusion, electro-optical and infrared imaging, communications, and navigation and integration into a simulation and training environment.

Provide requirements analysis and technical oversight and guidance to weapons systems program to ensure interoperability and interconnectivity of weapons system to Operational Test and Training Infrastructure (OTTI) to support system test as well as complete spectrum of operational training.


Analyze near and long-term objectives to create requirements pertaining to modernization, force structure composition and disposition for training systems, training ranges and their integration into an operational test and training program.


Support oversight of weapon system configuration following established MAJCOM and weapon system procedures while coordinating future USAF fighter capability test and training across requirements, acquisition, developmental and operational test.

Qualifications:

8-10 years of operational flying with a detailed understanding and knowledge of test and training concepts as well as knowledge/familiarity with the Joint Simulation Environment (JSE) or other sim training environment.


Must have a demonstrated ability to use creativity, foresight, and mature judgment in anticipating and solving problems; apply competency in evolving, complicated situations within the over changing modeling and simulation community.


Ability to learn quickly and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment · Excellent organizational and time management skills.


Must possess an active Top Secret security clearance. Duties will require unescorted entry and work within classified SAP and SCI facilities.


Must have 36 months or more of experience in a SAP environment within the last 6 years
